What others are saying:
Ann Carlock says:

Participating in the Alexander Hamilton Grant with AIHE has been a very rewarding experience shared by all involved in Paterson Public Schools. It has been a fun and exciting way to obtain new knowledge and breathe new life into our classrooms. While learning new historical content, we also get to know one another throughout the district, which is such an added resource. Through sharing ideas and collaborating lesson plans the veteran teacher in motivated to incorporate new scholarship while the novice teacher lays a rock solid foundation. We have met authors who have used props, seen history come to life by actually meeting actors who became George Washington and Henry “Box” Brown. We have been captivated by the lectures of renowned historians and studied history through music. The field trips to New York and New Jersey Historical Societies were exhilarating. We are all anxiously anticipating May’s Field Trip to Gettysburg. The resources we receive make us feel there are a number of ways to bring history alive. Through use of Binary Paideia we have the opportunity to present history as significantly important to our students. We are outstandingly grateful for this rewarding experience and greatly look forward to our upcoming colloquiums.
